Insurance for Acupuncture – Visit Limits Reset on January 1st

Some insurance plans have a limit of how many visits for acupuncture they will cover in a given year. This isn’t very common because acupuncture is seen a bit differently than other services with visit limits, like chiropractic or physical therapy. Nonetheless, some insurance plans cover acupuncture and impose a limit. Good news is, those visit limits almost always reset on January 1st. So, if you have a insurance plan that covers acupuncture, but has a limit, you should definitely make sure you’ve reached your cap in these last weeks of the year. And while you’re here, make sure you schedule some acupuncture for 2015. Looking forward to seeing you!
