Gong Xi Fa Cai – Happy Chinese New Year – Year of the Horse
恭禧發財! Gong Xi Fa Cai! Wishing you a happy, healthy, and prosperous Year of the Horse.
This is a year of warmth, intelligence, ability, clear communication and success. The Horse is considered a Fire element animal, so this is a good year for socializing and taking on leadership roles. But a Horse can also bolt, so make sure you have a good handle on its reins before you set off on this year’s adventure.
Those born in a Horse year will do well to be modest and humble in financial dealings. For people born in years other than Horse years, this will be a great year for travel. You will be especially fortunate when you try to have authentic local experiences in the new places you visit, like trying local foods.
If you would like to read more about the history behind Chinese lunar new year and its celebration, pop on over to EarthSky.org to read about it.
February is also the month of Valentine’s Day. Take a look at what my friends over at Mountain Rose Herbs have to say about making your own romantic massage oils.
In honor of the Year of the Horse, I’m reviving an old special. If you refer a friend in February, each of you will receive 20% off your next visit. But you have to come for a treatment in February.
Yours in health,
